ABOUT THE RELIGIOUS HUMANISM LOGO
Our beautiful logo was designed by the gifted Justin Clayton of Bot Creative. I love it more every time I look at it. It is based on a sketch I did on July 28, 2015 when it struck me that though (Secular) Humanism has a logo, Religious Humanism does not.
The meditating Happy Human (a nod to the logo of Humanism) represents individual spirituality, the present moment/mindfulness, and connection with the Transcendent. The yellow represents well-being, the sun, and transcendence. The shape of the legs in the lotus pose is a nod to yin/yang.
The left mountain/pyramid symbolizes the past and sacred space, and heritage. The red-brown alludes to past and earth.
The moon the on the right symbolizes wider perspective and sacred time. The blue represents that sense of broader perspective.
